چکیده
Background: Cancer stem cells are a subpopulation of tumor with self-renewal capacity that promote tumorigenesis, resistance to chemotherapy, and metastasis. Sox2, Oct4, Nanog three pluripotent transcription factors expressed in embryonic cancer cells. Materials Methods: This study aimed evaluate the expression Nanog, analyze their clinical significance human non-small-cell lung (NSCLC). Expression Oct4 was assayed tissues corresponding paracancerous from 30 patients NSCLC. RT-PCR used these genes. The correlation between genes parameters including disease stage, smoking, lymph node, subgroups (adenocarcinoma squamous) were analyzed. Results: All simultaneously 76.6% samples. A significant observed comparison (P<0.000). Sox2 gene had positive stage (Sox2 P=0.01, P=0.0007), while profile showed sex (P=0.0063), smoking (P=0.0253), stages (P=0.0003), type (P=0.0085). Conclusion: Evaluating NSCLC might have some implications for diagnosis prognosis; they be also promising treatment targets. correlations prognosis pathological features overexpression suggest is potential indicator early

Expression of Sox2 and Oct4 and Their Clinical Significance in Human Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer
Sox2 and Oct4 are transcription factors with the characteristics of regulating self-renewal and differentiation of embryonic stem cell. The aim of this study was to detect the expression of Sox2 and Oct4 and analyze their clinical significance in human non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Expression of Sox2 and Oct4 were assayed in cancer tissues and their corresponding paracancerous tissues fro...

ZJRMS 2015 Sep; X(X): XX-XX Background: Genes are involved in the control of stem cell self-renewal as a new class of molecular markers of cancer. In this study, the expression of Oct4, Nanog and Sox2 in cell lines MIA Paca-2, PA-TU-8902 and AsPC-1 and pancreatic cancer tissue were examined. M...
متن کاملOCT4 expression in human non-small cell lung cancer: implications for therapeutic intervention.
Here we investigate the expression of OCT4 human lung adenocarcinoma and bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC) tumor biopsies and tumor-derived primary cell cultures. OCT4 has been detected in several human tumors suggesting a potentially critical role in tumorigenesis. We assessed the presence of OCT4 in clinical tumor samples of both adenocarcinoma and BAC at the cellular and transcriptional lev...
متن کاملOCT4/SOX2-independent Nanog autorepression modulates heterogeneous Nanog gene expression in mouse ES cells.
NANOG, OCT4 and SOX2 form the core network of transcription factors supporting embryonic stem (ES) cell self-renewal. While OCT4 and SOX2 expression is relatively uniform, ES cells fluctuate between states of high NANOG expression possessing high self-renewal efficiency, and low NANOG expression exhibiting increased differentiation propensity. NANOG, OCT4 and SOX2 are currently considered to ac...
متن کاملTranscriptional regulation of nanog by OCT4 and SOX2.
Nanog, Sox2, and Oct4 are transcription factors all essential to maintaining the pluripotent embryonic stem cell phenotype. Through a cooperative interaction, Sox2 and Oct4 have previously been described to drive pluripotent-specific expression of a number of genes. We now extend the list of Sox2-Oct4 target genes to include Nanog. Within the Nanog proximal promoter, we identify a composite sox...
